As a transdisciplinary artist, I move through multiple forms of creation to document and present my life and work as a conscientious objector to and divester from white supremacy, anti-Blackness, racial capitalism, settler colonialism, and related structures of violence. Rooted in free improvisation, free jazz, and free composition, my performance practice also engages (among other concepts and modalities) embodied cognition and oratory; archival process and reading; Black and Native feminist refusal; Gestalt psychoanalysis and talk therapy; and hypervigilance, harm reduction, and “apothecarism” (my term).
To date these interventions are most approachable via my Twitter and YouTube channels but I’m also developing more traditional stage- and set-based entertainments in collaboration with friends from around the world. Stay tuned!
